Mentor Quests

Earn Mentor's Marks for completing quests that aid lower level players, and spend them in your capital city.

Mentor Quests are special quests aimed at connecting veteran players with new players.

To accept a Mentor Quest, a character must be above a certain level. (The requirement for each quest varies.)

  • Mentor Quests can be repeated every 22 hours.
    • There is also a Weekly Quest titled "Master Mentor", which awards bonus Marks and is repeatable every 6.5 days.

How it works

Once your character is a high enough rank to accept a quest, they will appear as Repeatable Quests in both Capital Cities and Warcamps.

To gain quest credit, you must complete the assigned task with a player of a certain level range in your party. (Nearby players outside your party will not count.)

Once complete, return to the Quest Giver to complete the quest and pick up the rewarded Mentor's Marks.

Goals of the system

One of the most helpful things for new players can be meeting a veteran player who can teach them the ropes and answer their questions as they level up to 40.

This system is designed to help encourage these friendships to form by rewarding the veterans who help with cosmetics, and by giving the aided players gear and loot that helps them as they level.

While not every mentor quest will result in a veteran and a new player becoming lifelong friends, the hope is that in some of these cases, newbies will meet helpful players who can make a positive impact on their experience as they continue playing.

In addition to rewards for currency, the game tracks the amount of Mentor Quests a player has completed.

As they pass certain milestones, they will unlock additional items which can be purchased for free from the normal vendors.

Those rewards are:
