The Vanquisher Set

The Vanquisher Set is a mid-tier level 40 armor set within Return of Reckoning.

This set comes after the Conqueror Set, and requires Renown Rank 55-58 to equip.

Vanquisher features 6 pieces, and you are able to purchase the Boots and Gloves for this set via other players or the Auction House, so feel free to do so if you have gold and want to save War Crests.

How to equip Vanquisher Armor

Speak to the Vanquisher Quartermaster in the South of your Capital City to purchase Vanquisher Armor.

To wear Vanquisher Armor, you'll first need the Conqueror Ward granted by equipping five pieces of Conqueror Armor or equivalent sets.

The Vanquisher vendor is located South in your capital city at the Altdorf War Quarters or (IC name here).

Look for Astolfo Maibaum (Order) or wip (Destro) and speak to them to begin purchasing the Armor set.

You'll need Renown Rank 55 to start equipping pieces, and Renown Rank 58 to finish the set.

• Vanquisher Belt: 143 War Crests, Renown 55 (Optional for Ward)
• Vanquisher Boots: 237 War Crests, Renown 56
• Vanquisher Gloves: 204 War Crests, Renown 56

• Vanquisher Helm: 355 War Crests, Renown 57

Is the Vanquisher Set good for my class?

As with all sets, this is situational, depending on your class and build.

Set Bonuses

Wearing 2 or more pieces of Vanquisher will grant your character additional set bonuses.

• All Tanks receive the same bonuses, and Healers share almost the same bonuses. (Noted below in the table.)

• For DPS Sets, if you see an ←, it means this class gains the same benefit listed in the left column.

6 Pieces	Bulwarking Presence - On Being Hit: 10% Chance to reduce the damage being taken by your Group within 30 feet by 3% for 10 seconds.

Healers

4 Pieces	Exuberance - On Casting Heal: 20% chance to recover 35 AP. WP/DoK: Imperative Spirit - On Casting Heal: 20% Chance to recover 15 Career Resources over 3 seconds.

6 Pieces	Increasing Impetus - On Attacking Target or Direct Heal Dealt: 5% chance to reduce build times by 25% for 5 seconds.

Melee DPS

Magus: Each time you critically hit an enemy with Path of Havoc abilities, 20% chance to reduce their initiative by 80 for 5 seconds.	Shadow Warrior: Increases the critical hit rate of all Path of the Skirmisher abilities by 10% Squig Herder: Increases the critical hit rate of all Path of Quick Shootin' abilities by 10% Engineer: Each time you critically hit an enemy with Path of Rifleman abilities, 20% chance to reduce their initiative by 80 for 5 seconds.

Unlocking the Vanquisher Ward

The Vanquisher Ward has 5 Fragments, making some pieces of this set optional.

The Vanquisher Ward is the second-to-last Ward, and is unlocked by equipping five pieces of Vanquisher Armor. Those are:

• Boots
• Gloves
• Shoulders
• Helm
• Chest

If you're not looking to use Vanquisher for long or want to move on to a different set, you can skip the Vanquisher Belt to save on War Crests. You can also unlock this ward with other armor sets that won't cost you any War Crests - please see the Vanquisher Ward page for info.

The completed Vanquisher Ward unlocks the gates for you to move onto a number of more powerful sets: The Invader Set, the Bloodlord Set, and the Triumphant Set.
