Quest: Scholarly Pursuits - Each race

Scholarly Pursuits is a quest to earn one of three Pocket Item tomes in the Junior Explorer’s Kit set.

The rewards and zones for each version of this quest are race specific.

Junior Explorer’s Kit Tomes

Requirements

You must be minimum Character Level 1 to begin the quest and Character Level 1 to equip the item.

Your quest will begin in a different zone depending upon your character race.

Warning / Disclaimer:

• You may only select ONE of the Junior Explorer’s Kit tomes (Adventurer’s Handbook. The Librams of Insight, or The Book of BOOM).
• At this time, this quest line is NOT repeatable. So, Choose wisely!

• “This item will be required for a future quest, destroy with caution.”
• The tome you select as your final quest reward will be needed to complete the upgrade to Vol. II.

Dwarf Race

Beginning the Quest:

• Travel to Ekrund and make your way to Mount Bloodhorn.
• Head East to the Krom Kormar Gap and locate Gnash Krusha near a small lake.
• Kill Gnash Krusha @ 12.0k / 30.2k and collect Attack Orders: Morek Oldor.
• In the Quest items tab of your Backpack, click on the item and accept the quest: Scholarly Pursuits.
• Ride to Komar - Dwarf Chapter 3 and seek out Morek Oldor @ 9.1k / 24.0k
• Morek Oldor will task you to journey East to a small Greenskin encampment in Throng-A-Varaz to kill Warboss Azkgog Garsnak.
• Kill Warboss Azkgog Garsnak (Champion Lvl 9) @ 21.0k / 26.4k and retrieve Morek’s Book Sack.
• Return to Morek Oldor in Kormar to collect your reward.

Empire Race

Beginning the Quest:

• Travel to Nordland Arnholdt’s Empire Warcamp.
• Head South West to find and kill Demahaar in the small camp @42.6k / 26.6k to obtain Attack Order: Reinhardt Nachtblum.
• In the Quest items tab of your Backpack, click on the item and accept the quest: Scholarly Pursuits.
• Ride to the Wayshrine of Sigmar and seek out Reinhardt Nachtblum @ 32.6k / 27.8k
• Reinhardt Nachtblum will task you to journey West to the Ruins of Schloss von Rubendorff to kill Ragnar the Destroyer.
• Kill Ragnar the Destroyer (Champion Lvl 9) @10.4k / 20.9k and retrieve Reinhardt’s Satchel.
• Return Reinhardt Nachtblum to collect your reward.

High Elf Race

Beginning the Quest:

• Travel to The Blighted Isle.
• Head East beyond Erranenth to find and kill Rokot Darkhand on the ravenship docked on the shoreline @ 63.0k / 53.0k to obtain Attack Orders: Astikar Aramir.
• Ride to Chrace to Blightward - High Eld Chapter 3 and seek out Astikar Aramir @ 51.7k / 1.3k
• Astikar Aramir will task you to journey South to kill Cara Fellscar.
• Kill Cara Fellscar (Champion Lvl 9) at @ 48.0k / 24.0k and retrieve Astikar’s Book Satchel.
• Return Astikar Aramir to collect your reward.

Chaos Race

Beginning the Quest:

• Travel to Nordland to Death’s Brink - Chaos Chapter 3.
• Head South East to find and kill Huldorf Kaslain among the tents @46.3k / 5.3k to obtain Attack Order: Draeven the Flameseer.
• In the Quest items tab of your Backpack, click on the item and accept the quest: Scholarly Pursuits.
• Return to Death’s Brink and locate Draeven the Flameseer to turn in.
• Draeven the Flameseer will task you to journey South to kill General Alberich Waldemar.
• Kill General Alberich Waldemar @50.9k / 17.6k and retrieve Draeven’s Satchel.
• Return to Draeven the Flameseer in Death’s Brink to collect your reward.

Dark Elf Race

Beginning the Quest:

• Travel to Chrace to Malagurn’s Charge - Dark Elf Chapter 8.
• Head South to the Stone of Valetear PQ and locate Yorian Enyur.
• Kill Yorian Enyur @ 13.7k / 51.4k and collect Attack Orders: Tressa Vashas.
• In the Quest items tab of your Backpack, click on the item and accept the quest: Scholarly Pursuits.
• Return to Malagurn’s Charge and seek out Tressa Vashas @ 22.4k / 27.1k
• Tressa Vashas will task you to journey North to kill Gandrell Ingmir.
• Kill Gandrell Ingmir (Champion Lvl 9) @ 17.1k / 17.6k and retrieve Ingmir’s Satchel.
• Return to Tressa Vashas in Malagurn’s Charge to collect your reward.

Greenskin Race

Beginning the Quest:

• Travel to Mount Bloodhorn to Screeb’s Stunty Killin’ Camp Greenskin Warcamp.
• Head South to the Krom Kormar Gap and locate Kallon Harrok.
• Kill Kallon Harrok @ 10.7k / 31.2k and collect Attack Orders: Nubzub Muncha.
• In the Quest items tab of your Backpack, click on the item and accept the quest: Scholarly Pursuits.
• Ride to Komar - Greenskin Chapter 3 and seek out Nubzub Muncha @ 1.4k / 27.0k
• Nubzub Muncha will task you to journey South to the Wolftoof Wud to kill Grunni Heganbor.
• Kill Grunni Heganbor (Champion Lvl 9) @ 1.8k / 54.7k and retrieve Richter’s Book Sack.
• Return to Nubzub Muncha in Kormar to collect your reward.
