The Bloodlord Set
Bloodlord is a top-tier set of PvE Weapons and Armor earned by completing the Bastion Stair Dungeon in Return of Reckoning.
Bloodlord Set Requirements
As a PvE set, you can equip Bloodlord Weapons and Armor without needing any Renown level.
However, to wear any piece of Bloodlord, you will need the Vanquisher Ward first, which you can acquire by equipping any of the pieces listed on this page.

Bloodlord Weapons: The Best DPS Murder can buy
Bloodlord Weapons are one of the best DPS Weapon options in the game for many builds.
This is because the Bloodlord Weapons feature a unique 5% Damage increase in exchange for reducing your toughness and armor.
- When compared side-by-side, Bloodlord Weapons feature slightly less Critical chance and auto-attack DPS than Fortress counterparts, but offer more Melee/Ranged/Magic Power, and a 5% flat damage increase.
- Classes with multiple weapons can mix and match Bloodlord Weapons in concert with Fortress Weapons to gain both the Bloodlord damage increase and the Fortress Weapon's higher Crit chance.
- Even if you do not currently have your Bloodlord Weapon drawn (for example, Ranged Shadow Warriors or Squig Herders using it as their melee weapon), you will still gain the 5% damage increase to all abilities as long as it's equipped.
Note: You cannot stack the damage boost from multiple Bloodlord weapons together.
Acquiring your Bloodlord Weapon
To acquire your Bloodlord Weapon, you'll need to earn Influence within the Bastion Stair Dungeon.
Influence is granted upon killing the final boss of any wing. (Previously, this was granted in smaller amounts per boss kill.)
- Note: Many wings feature bosses which can be skipped, so kill only the necessary bosses if you want to be as efficient as possible while grinding Influence.
After two full runs, you'll have enough Influence for the first Reward Tier. Speak to Rally Master Rakkoth Doomfist (Destro) or Sergeant Dunstand (Order) to select your weapon.
Earning your Bloodlord Armor
The Bloodlord Armor set is earned by defeating the bosses within Bastion Stair.
- In addition to drops from the bosses, you can earn guaranteed armor pieces by taking the blue Repeatable Quests given by the NPCs at the start of the Dungeon. (Be sure to check all the quest-givers, as Boots and Gloves are awarded by a different NPC!)
- After clearing the necessary bosses 4 times, you can pick up the almost-full set of Bloodlord Armor Pieces for free.
- The last piece, the Cape, is earned as the third and final Influence reward.
Set Bonuses
Wearing 2 or more pieces of Bloodlord will grant your character additional set bonuses.
