Love Lost

Love Lost is a quest in Nordland given by Vidkun. You are to look for Lajla. You won´t find her but will find Arnich who tells you of her fate and asks you to avenge them, which you do by killing four Norse Raiders or Norse Ravagers and Borgren.

Lore Text

Upon receiving from Vidkun:

"Where is she? Lajla! Can you hear me? Where are you Lajla?

This can´t be! My wife died from the plauge not but two months past, and now my Lajla is lost!

She was to marry Arnich, the Weaver´s son, within a fortnight. That was until the Norse came. Arnich died in the fields defending our homes. When Lajla received word of his death, she rushed towards the battlefield to find his body.

I couldn´t stop her! We all know the Norse will kill her. I must find my Lajla before it´s too late!

Lajla! Where are you?"

Upon finding the dying Arnich:

"I took an arrow in battle with the Norse. They left me for dead, and I was able to drag myself here.

I felt my life slipping away when I heard her voice calling to me. Lajla! It was like a dream, She had some to me. We tried to flee , but my legs could not carry me."

"Lajla tried to stop the bleeding but I could see in her eyes she knew it was hopeless.

Then they were upon her! The Norse attacked her before my eyes. May I be thrown into the sea and left for dead, I could not help her!

They killed her, -character name-, I have lost everything but my life. And without Lajla, I do not wish to draw another breath!

Morr is coming for me. The ones that killed her... they must pay! Make them pay... please, I beg you!"

Upon completion from Vidkun:

"No! She cannot be dead...not my Lajla. I promised her mother that I would look after her! We came here to get away from the plauge and now she´s dead!

Sigmar has abandoned us all! Nothing can stop the Norse! Leave now, Alfredasister, or the Norse will make sure you share my poor Lajla´s fate!"
