The Knights of the Blazing Sun are an order of templars devoted to Myrmidia, goddess of warfare and protector of civilization. While their order originated in the southern lands of the Old World, its members have spread across the Empire throughout recent centuries.

Each Knight spends a lifetime devoted to physical discipline and mental rigor — the latter being what distinguishes them from most other warriors. Rarely do they ride in large formations; instead, the Knights of the Blazing Sun travel in small companies or alone, seeking opportunities to test their skill, serve as advisors, command armies, and prove their worth upon the field of battle.
