One of the abundant observed results of attempting to manipulate magic are '''imps'''. Though uncommon, there have been occasions where spellcasters practicing their art will inadvertently incite the generation of an imp. These semi-sentient beings are comprised of the raw stuff of magic and take on demeanors indicative of the wind of magic that they are comprised of. Imps made up of Aqshy, or the Fire Wind are at times temperamental and wild and carelessly set things alight with their passing, while Imps born of the Jade wind, or Ghyran, can almost be considered beneficial, if not mischievous. There are legends of farmers being visited by these Imps and finding their crops yields increased dramatically while also discovering that the wooden doors of their homes have been brought back to life, solidly taking root into the earth.
