What is an Event Slot?
The Event Slot is an Item Slot in Return of Reckoning. In your Character window, it's just above your Helm slot.
This slot is usually reserved for Limited-time items that boost your stats, and will expire after a set window of time.
What items can I place in the Event Slot?
The most common Event slot items are rewards from the Weekend Warfront Scenarios.
7 Day Event Slot Items
The final reward tier in Weekend Warfronts will allow you to choose between two of the following:
- Medal of Perseverance (always an option)
- Medal of Accuracy
- Medal of Brawn
- Medal of Discipline
- Medal of Insight
Each of these grants an Event Slot item with specialized stats useful for your class.
These Event Slot items last for 7 days, allowing you to constantly refresh it each weekend by completing the Weekend Warfront tasks.
These Medals also scale themselves based on your level, so you can start earning them at any level, and get more powerful versions in future weeks as you grow stronger.
Ranked Event Items
You can also purchase Event slot Triumphant Medals by playing Ranked Scenarios. These cost 200 War Crests and 1 Triumphant Insignia, and can be found at the Ranked vendors in the South of most Capital cities.
60 Day Event Slot Items
In addition, there are sometimes longer-lasting Event Slot items that may last for up to 60 days.
These usually appear a few times a year as part of special larger event chains around Halloween, Valentine's Day, Easter, or other major holidays.
Where do I pick up my Event Slot item?
Once you've earned an Event Slot item, you can pick it up at the Herald in your Capital City. In Altdorf and Inevitable City, these are located near the Flight Masters in the North parts of the cities.
Legacy Event Items
While most current Event Slot items will vanish for good after a window of time, you may see some players equipped with Legacy Event items.
These are old items from long-concluded events, like the Pumpkins from the Halloween Event some years ago.
Though these items may remain, their bonus stats have long expired, and they remain purely as a cosmetic icon in the character window.
Quick Tip
- The decay timer for Event Items begins once you accept them from the Herald. If you have two event items that would decay simultaneously, you can delay picking up the most recent for up to 2 weeks to maximize your time with them.
