Talabec Dam
From RoR Wiki
Talabec Dam is an escort scenario in which a giant carries a mine from the center of the map toward the enemy's bridge. Players no longer pick up and carry the mine themselves. Your realm helps steer the giant by contesting the area around it.
At a glance
- Players: 6 to 12 per realm
- Time limit: 12 minutes
- Player kills: 5 points
- Winning score: 500 points
- Objective: Escort the giant and its mine to the enemy bridge
How to play
- The giant appears in the center of the map 30 seconds after the match begins.
- Stay near the giant to contest control. The side with more players nearby can push it toward its bridge, and a larger advantage moves it faster.
- Fight around the giant and keep your realm's numbers close. If the enemy gains control, contest the area to push the giant back toward your bridge.
- The march awards points at three milestones. If the giant reaches the enemy bridge, it plants the mine and earns a final score award. The mine explodes after a 5-second fuse.
- Player kills add 5 points. Your realm wins by reaching 500 points or by having the higher score when the 12-minute timer ends.
The giant's escort mechanic was introduced in the live patch notes from 6 August 2026. Its spawn delay and contest range were adjusted in the official patch notes from 17 September 2026.
Tips
- Stay close enough to the giant to affect its movement. Fighting far away from it will not help your team escort it.
- Coordinate with your group before contesting the giant. A stronger nearby presence helps move it faster.
- When the mine is planted, expect it to explode after five seconds and be ready to contest the next giant.
