The Old Dwarf Road
From RoR Wiki
The Old Dwarf Road crosses Black Fire Pass, a narrow passage through the Black Mountains between the Badlands and the Empire. Order and Destruction fight for control of the road and its three shrines, built to commemorate Dwarfen High Kings.
At a glance
| Players | Time limit | Victory score | Points per player kill | Scenario style |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 6 to 18 per realm | 12 minutes | 500 | 4 | Three-shrine control |
How to play
- Capture and hold the three shrines around the old fort. The shrines are the main objectives, so keep checking the map and move to the points your realm needs.
- Capture points and player kills both contribute to your realm's score.
- The road is wide enough that the fight can split across objectives. Coordinate with your group so your team does not leave every shrine open while chasing one battle.
Scoring
- Defeating an enemy player awards 4 points.
- Capturing and holding the shrines contributes to your realm's score. The first realm to reach 500 points wins.
- If neither realm reaches 500 before the 12-minute time limit, the higher score wins.
Tips for new players
- Follow your group to a shrine and help capture or defend it.
- Keep an eye on the other shrine markers. If your realm controls only one point, moving to another can create pressure elsewhere.
- Do not focus only on kills. Capturing the shrines is the objective, and the points help decide the match.
Background
The Old Dwarf Road was once a trade route linking Karaz Ankor with the Old World colonies. It also runs through Black Fire Pass, a strategic route used by Greenskin invasions into the Empire. The three shrines commemorate Dwarfen High Kings whose actions shaped relations between Dwarfs and humans.
