The Ironclad is a fight between Dwarf ironclads sailing from Barak Varr and Orc sea-hulks from the Black Gulf. Slayer privateers and Choppa freebooters clash aboard the ships as each realm tries to seize key points across the decks.

At a glance

Players Time limit Victory score Points per player kill Scenario style
6 to 9 per realm 12 minutes 500 5 Multi-objective capture

How to play

  • Capture and defend the three objective banners: the Engine Room, Central Gangway, and Upper Deck.
  • Keep your group moving between objectives. Capturing points across the ship helps your realm build score while you fight the opposing crew.
  • The Central Gangway banner is in the open room beyond the ramp, rather than in the cramped ramped hallway.
  • The Upper Deck banner is on the opposite side of the deck from its earlier position. Check the objective marker instead of relying on an old route.

Scoring

  • Defeating an enemy player awards 5 points.
  • Capturing and holding the objective banners contributes to your realm's score. The first realm to reach 500 points wins.
  • If neither realm reaches 500 before the 12-minute time limit, the higher score wins.

Tips for new players

  • Watch the objective markers and travel with your group when the fight shifts to another deck.
  • Do not let your realm lose control of every objective while chasing kills. A small group can help defend a point while the rest of your team contests another.
  • The Central Gangway and Upper Deck banners were moved in September 2026. Check the current marker and do not assume an older guide's positions are still accurate.
  • Help your healers and protect allies when fighting in tight spaces around the ship's objectives.

Background

Dwarf ironclads sail from Barak Varr carrying Slayer crews to raid and plunder. Orc sea-hulks from the Black Gulf have ambushed them, bringing Choppa freebooters into a battle across the ships.
