Mourkain Temple
Mourkain Temple is a fast, objective-focused Scenario where Order and Destruction fight over the Mourkain Artifact. The carrier is dangerous to the enemy, but carrying it steadily drains their health. Protect your bearer, hunt the enemy bearer, and keep earning points for your realm.
At a glance
| Players | Time limit | Winning score | Enemy player kill |
|---|---|---|---|
| 6 to 12 per realm | 12 minutes | 500 points | 10 points |
The first realm to reach 500 points wins. If neither reaches the score limit, the higher score wins when time runs out.
The fight
The Mourkain Artifact is the focus of the battle. Find and pick it up for your realm, then fight as a team around its carrier. The carrier takes damage over time, so they need support and protection rather than being left to fight alone.
Kills are worth points, and killing enemy players while carrying the Artifact earns your realm more points. Defeating an enemy Artifact carrier also gives increased rewards. The exact bonus values are not shown in the available scenario information.
How to play
Your realm has the Artifact
- Stay near the carrier and help keep them alive. The Artifact damages its carrier over time.
- Keep fighting as a group. Kills made by the carrier are worth more to your realm, so help them stay in the fight.
- Do not let the objective pull your whole team away from the battle. Your ordinary kills still add 10 points each.
The enemy has the Artifact
- Find the enemy carrier and focus them with your group. Defeating them denies the enemy their extra scoring opportunity and gives increased rewards.
- Stay together while pushing for the Artifact. Scattered players are easier to pick off and make it harder to protect whoever takes it next.
Background
The Mourkain Temple lies in the Marshes of Madness. A Return of Reckoning event announcement describes Order and Destruction returning to the ruins to settle control of the temple.
