Sends a bug report text to the server.

SendBugReport(category, text)

Arguments

category

number – Bug category. Only the low 8 bits are sent.

text

wstring – The report text.

Returns

Nothing.

Details

• If text is empty, nothing is sent.
• The text is converted to a narrow (single-byte) string and cut to fit a 1000-byte field before sending.
• Nothing is sent if the connection is not ready.
• The function needs at least two arguments and only reads the last two.
• The stock UI does not use this function. Its bug report window sends reports with SendHelpMessage(GameData.HelpType.CREATE_BUG_REPORT, ...); a call to SendBugReport is left there as a comment.

Errors

None besides the generic Invalid Parameters message when an argument has the wrong type.
