Sends a bug report text to the server.
SendBugReport(category, text)
Arguments
- category
number– Bug category. Only the low 8 bits are sent.- text
wstring– The report text.
Returns
Nothing.
Details
- If
textis empty, nothing is sent. - The text is converted to a narrow (single-byte) string and cut to fit a 1000-byte field before sending.
- Nothing is sent if the connection is not ready.
- The function needs at least two arguments and only reads the last two.
- The stock UI does not use this function. Its bug report window sends reports with
SendHelpMessage(GameData.HelpType.CREATE_BUG_REPORT, ...); a call toSendBugReportis left there as a comment.
Errors
None besides the generic Invalid Parameters message when an argument has the wrong type.
