Subjugator Weapons
What are Subjugator Weapons?
Subjugator Weapons are a category of weapons available in Return of Reckoning.
Subjugator Weapons are acquired by trading in the corresponding Besieger Weapon together with Genesis Crests:
- One-handed weapon or shield: Besieger item plus 10 Genesis Crests.
- Two-handed weapon: Besieger item plus 20 Genesis Crests.
The Besieger item is consumed during the upgrade. This replaced the former direct purchase of Subjugator Weapons in April 2026.
Who can use Subjugator Weapons?
Any character at Rank 40 can equip Subjugator weapons. They can be equipped regardless of your Renown Rank, and are currently available for all classes within Return of Reckoning.
What are Subjugator Weapons useful for?
For fresh Rank 40 characters, Subjugator weapons are often the next upgrade after Besieger Weapons.
Besides featuring decent stats, Subjugator Weapons also include special weapon procs, like bonus damage or defensive absorbs. Those procs are:
- 1-handed Offensive: On hit, 5% chance to jolt target for 360 damage.
- 1-handed Shield: On being hit, 3% chance to form a protective barrier that absorbs 360 damage over 5 seconds.
- 2-handed Offensive: Each time an enemy deals direct damage to you with an ability, you have a 12% chance to increase your movement speed by 20% for 5 seconds. Effect can trigger once every 5 seconds and will end once you use an ability.
2026 healer proc changes
As part of the May 2026 itemization update, the former Spike proc was removed from the relevant Subjugator and Fortress weapons:
- Zealot weapons received Vitalize.
- Warrior Priest and Disciple of Khaine weapons received Barricade.
Weapon statistics were also redistributed under the unified itemization rules to account for proc costs. Players should use the current vendor tooltip for the exact statistics and proc wording of their career's weapon.
Where can I upgrade my Subjugator Weapon?
- Order players can purchase them from Baron Bernhardt in Southwest Altdorf (War Quarters).
- Destruction players can purchase them from The Denied in the Undercroft, the South section of The Inevitable City.
Next stop: Fortress!
Subjugator Weapons are also the base weapons you'll need when upgrading to Fortress Weapons as your character becomes stronger.
Alongside Bloodlord, Fortress weapons are considered best-in-slot for a large number of builds. To upgrade your Subjugator Weapon to Fortress, you'll trade it in at the Palace in the North area of your capital city.
For more information, please see the Fortress Weapons page.
Please note: When purchasing a Fortress Weapon, your existing Subjugator Weapon will be traded over as part of the exchange.
