Champion's Mark
Champion's Marks are a special PvE Dungeon reward granted for completing Dungeon Speed Run Quests in Return of Reckoning.
These quests were added to both Gunbad and Bastion Stair in January 2024.
Champion's Mark Vendors
Players can trade in their earned Marks for various rewards, including rare cosmetic dyes, by speaking to the following vendors:
- Altdorf: Schorl the Lucky, Southeast Altdorf Quarters (31.9k / 49k)
- Inevitable City: Howlit the Boneless, Slaanesh Quarters (23k, 51k)
Earning a Champion's Mark
Champion's Marks are given as a reward for the most challenging 6-man PvE Content within Return of Reckoning, and by definition, are not easy to earn.
To challenge the quests and earn these Marks, look for repeatable quests as you enter level 40 Dungeons like Mount Gunbad or Bastion Stair.
Players must be level 40 to accept these quests, and in most cases, it is highly advised to bring gear well above the required level for the Dungeon - though it may still be possible to complete with weaker gear, if the team is skilled enough.
- Speed Run Quests share the same week-long cooldown timer as Guild Quests, which is roughly 6 days and 12 hours. (Meaning you can schedule a run at the same time each week and the quest will be off-cooldown.)
Advice for Clearing Speed Run Quests
- High Damage output is crucial.
- Many groups will shift the standard 2 tank / 2 heal / 2 DPS party composition into something like 1 tank / 3 DPS / 2 heals.
- Some groups may even run 1 Tank / 4 DPS / 1 heal. Adjust your team's composition depending on the skill and gear of your team.
- Adapt quickly. high DPS party compositions can blitz dungeons rapidly, but even small mistakes with mechanics or aggro can result in a full wipe and significant time lost.
- AP is also crucial. Consider ways to keep your party members constantly stocked with AP.
- Consider utility. It's not just tanks or healers that matter - class composition of the DPS can also significantly help your strategy. Some classes may deal less damage but bring useful utility.
- Skip what you can. Consider which trash mobs you can skip, but be careful not to overload your tank(s)/healers by pulling too many and losing time to deaths.
