Empire & Chaos Heraldry Shields

Empire & Chaos Heraldry Shields are new cosmetic shields added to the game in the June 2024 update.

These shields represent the Provinces of the Empire and certain factions or symbols of Chaos, and can be worn by Knights and Chosen classes respectively.

14 new cosmetic shields for Empire Knights and 14 new cosmetic shields for Chaos Chosen were created.

Earning the Shields

Players can earn these shields by completing specific quests.

There are two tiers of shields to earn: Silver and Gold.

Silver Shields also have slightly different trim designs.

• For Silver Tier shields, most are divided into either: RvR, Scenarios, or PvE.

• For Gold Tier Shields, the quests become more difficult, and may require a mix of tasks.

• After earning the Silver shield, players who meet certain requirements will be able to take a second quest to upgrade to the Gold trimmed version.

The final two Gold shields are tied to the Lost Vale Dungeon, and will become accessible once the dungeon releases.

Empire Shields

The currently available Empire shields are:

Heater of Ostermark

Silver Tier:

• Required Level: 12
• Starting NPC: Yedgar Ostblum, Chapter 7 camp, Ostland
• Task: Complete a Hard PQ and kill specific enemies

Gold Tier:

• Required Level: 40
• Required Renown Rank: 50
• Starting NPC: Yedgar Ostblum, Chapter 7 camp, Ostland
• Task: Clear eight Public Quests

Heater of Altdorf

Silver Tier:

• Required Level: 15
• Starting NPC: Watch Captain Neidenbach, Altdorf, across from the flight master
• Task: Clear the Sewers of Altdorf Dungeon

Gold Tier:

• Required Level: 40
• Required Renown Rank: 52
• Starting NPC: Watch Captain Neidenbach, Altdorf, across from the flight master
• Task: Clear the Warpblade Tunnels Dungeon (note: currently unavailable at the time of editing)

Heater of Ostland

Silver Tier:

• Required Level: 18
• Starting NPC: Vladmir Von Raukov, Chapter 9 camp, Ostland
• Task: Kill 50 Chaos players in Troll Country / Ostland or Scenarios set in those maps

Gold Tier:

• Required Level: 40
• Required Renown Rank: 55
• Starting NPC: Vladmir Von Raukov, Chapter 9 camp, Ostland
• Task: Kill 150 Chaos players in Troll Country / Ostland or Scenarios set in those maps

Heater of Stirland

Silver Tier:

• Required Level: 20
• Starting NPC: Oskar Poppenheidt, Chapter 6 camp, Troll Country
• Task: Win the Stone Troll Crossing scenario ten times

Gold Tier:

• Required Level: 40
• Required Renown Rank: 60
• Starting NPC: Oskar Poppenheidt, Chapter 6 camp, Troll Country
• Task: Win the Stone Troll Crossing scenario thirty times

Heater of Death's Head

Silver Tier:

• Required Level: 23
• Starting NPC: Martin Glumhart, Chapter 12 camp, High Pass
• Task: Win the High Pass Cemetary scenario ten times

Gold Tier:

• Required Level: 40
• Required Renown Rank: 65
• Starting NPC: Martin Glumhart, Chapter 12 camp, High Pass

Heater of Talabecland

Silver Tier:

• Task: Kill 150 Players in Reikland or the Reikwald Fortress, defeat Khorgash Manbreaker (Beastlord boss) in Reikland

Gold Tier:

• Required Level: 40
• Required Renown Rank: 75
• Starting NPC: General Walther Gellert, Reikland Warcamp
• Task: Kill 250 Players in Reikland or the Reikwald Fortress, defeat Tobias in the Sigmar's Crypts Dungeon.
