Lore

The Spites, Dryads, Treekin, and other fey creatures of the forest are dangerous to all travelers. The menace of these creatures has prompted numerous attempts to destroy them. They remain in the woods, in no small part due to the presence of a Branchwraith named Ylis, who watches over the forest at all times and alerts the other creatures to the approach of any threat to the forest's denizens.
