On the outskirts of Salzenmund, the land is unforgiving and the failure of a single harvest means famine in this rustic corner of Nordland. The callused men and women who work these fields care not for the struggle between the Empire and Chaos. But if they should see an army approaching them with the intent to push them from their fields and their only belongings, these humble farmers will bitterly fight with whatever implements are within reach.
