Quests for the Explorer’s Kit Tomes - Each race

• For each race there is a unique quest to earn one of three Pocket Item tomes in the Explorer’s Kit set.

• The rewards and zones for each version of this quest are race specific.

Requirements

• You must be minimum Character Level 12 to begin the quest and Character Level 12 to equip the item.

• Your quest will begin in a different zone depending upon your character race.

• At this time, this quest line is NOT repeatable.!

Quests for the Explorer’s Kit Tomes:

Dwarf Race Quest: Shorn Insolence

Beginning the Quest:

• Fly to Marshes of Madness - Thurarikson’s Warcamp and travel South West into the Fetid Bog.
• Patrol the road searching for a Boglar Headhunta (Champion lvl 18).
• Kill Arkaneth Nightrider and loot the Shorn Beard.
• Click on the Shorn Beard in your Quest Bag to begin the quest: Shorn Insolence.
• Make your way to Oathhold - Dwarf Chapter 9 and locate Morek Oldor
• Morek Oldor tasks you to return to the Fetid Bog and locate the Butcher’s Pot and toss a rotten onion into the stew, then ruin it by interacting with the Butcher’s Pot.
• Locate the Butcher’s Lil’ Pot @30.3k / 48.9k
• Interact with the Butcher's Lil’ Pot to throw the rotten onion into it. (If in a group - be sure you click Complete the Butcher’s Lil’ Pot step)
• Be prepared to defend yourself against the ogre butcher! Defeat Krul the Shaver (Hero lvl 19).
• Note: if you fail to defend yourself and the enemy has despawned, you will have to abandon the quest and restart it from the Bitcher’s Lil’ Pot
• Return to Morek Oldor in Oathhold to turn in and receive Ancestral Wisdom.

• Use it to upgrade your Junior Explorer’s Tome with Morek Oldor, a Merchant. The Ancestral Wisdom and one of the three book pocket items (Adventurer’s Handbook. The Librams of Insight, or The Book of BOOM) are required for the purchase of the tome’s upgrade to Vol. II

Empire Race Quest: Ostland’s Corruption

Beginning the Quest:

• Fly to Ostland - Bohsenfels - Empire Chapter 8.
• Patrol the road to the South West searching for Doctor Ebbe (Champion lvl 18).
• Kill Doctor Ebbe and loot the Desecrated Symbol.
• Click on the Desecrated Symbol in your Quest Bag to begin the quest: Ostland’s Corruption.
• Make your way to the Wolfenburg Inn and locate Reinhardt Nachtblum.
• Reinhardt Nachtblum tasks you to search for the Sigmarite Font in the Grimwood Monastery (Major Landmark) and prepare it to be cleansed.
• Kill Corrupted Magus and Priests to retrieve Blessed Water needed for the cleansing ritual.
• Interact with the Sigmarite Font to begin the cleansing ritual by placing the Desecrated Symbol (click on the item in your Quest Bag) into the font to begin the cleansing ritual. (If in a group - be sure you click Complete the Sigmarite Font step)
• Be prepared to defend yourself against the Daemon! Defeat Pyrax Fallenwing (Hero lvl 19).
• Note: if you fail to defend yourself and the enemy has despawned, you will have to abandon the quest and restart it from the Sigmarite Font.
• Return to Reinhardt Nachtblum at the Wolfenburg Inn to turn in and receive Sigmarite Wisdom.

• Use it to upgrade your Explorer’s Tome with Reinhardt Nachtblum, a Merchant. The Sigmarite Wisdom and one of the three book pocket items (Adventurer’s Handbook. The Librams of Insight, or The Book of BOOM) are required for the purchase of the tome’s upgrade to Vol. II

High Elf Race Quest: Fell Steeds

Beginning the Quest:

• Fly to Ellyrion Reaverspring - High Elf Chapter 9 and travel to Reaver’s Mark in the south east corner of the map.

Patrol the road searching for Arkaneth Nightrider (Champion lvl 18).

• Kill Arkaneth Nightrider and loot the Druchii Courier's Satchel.
• Click on the Druchii Courier's Satchel in your Quest Bag to begin the quest: Fell Steeds.
• Return to Reaverspring and locate Astikar Aramir.
• Astikar Aramir tasks you to return to southern Ellyrion to the quest marked area of the map and slay Bloodscream Prowlers (one of the younger great cats) to obtain a Bloodscream Shank.
• Next, locate the small Bait Basket located @45.5k / 65.3k
• Interact with the Bait Basket to toss the slab of great cat meat into it. (If in a group - be sure you click Complete the Bait Basket step)
• Be prepared to defend yourself against the dark pegasus! Defeat Pyrax Fallenwing (Hero lvl 19).
• Note: if you fail to defend yourself and the enemy has despawned, you will have to abandon the quest and restart it from the Bait Basket.
• Return to Astikar Aramir in Reaverspring to turn in and receive Asur Lore.

• Use it to upgrade your Explorer’s Tome with Astikar Aramir, a Merchant. The Asur Lore and one of the three book pocket items (Adventurer’s Handbook. The Librams of Insight, or The Book of BOOM) are required for the purchase of the tome’s upgrade to Vol. II

Chaos Race Quest: Fishy Business

Beginning the Quest:

• Fly to Troll Country and head North West to the high lakes above the Bonegut Tribe (Major Landmark).
• Search for the Fishy Gnoblar (Champion Lvl 18) patrolling the small lakes in the area.
• Kill the Fishy Gnoblar and retrieve the Fishy Basket.
• Click on the Fishy Basket in your Quest Bag to begin the quest: Fishy Business.
• Travel to Trollhagen - Chaos Chapter 9 and locate Draeven the Flameseer. Turn in.
• Draeven the Flameseer instructs you to head to Rotbeak Crag and search for the Offering Basket amongst the rocks @ 21.8k / 16.5k
• Interact with the Offering Basket to dump some fish into it. (If in a group - be sure you click Complete on the Offering Basket step)
• Be prepared to defend yourself against the troll! Defeat Urggu (Hero Lvl 19).
• Note: if you fail to defend yourself and the enemy has despawned, you will have to abandon the quest and restart it from the Offering Basket.
• Return to Draeven the Flameseer in Trollhagen to turn in and receive the Chaotic Writings.

• Use it to upgrade your Explorer’s Tome with Draeven the Flameseer, a Merchant. The Chaotic Writings and one of the three book pocket items (Adventurer’s Handbook. The Librams of Insight, or The Book of BOOM) are required for the purchase of the tome’s upgrade to Vol. II.

Dark Elf Race Quest: Fools Take the High Road

Beginning the Quest:

• Fly to Ellyrion to Goldmead - Dark Elf Chapter 9, and head South East to the area above Highvale Cavern (Major Landmark).
• Search the trail for the Highvale Warden (Champion Lvl 18) patrolling the roads.
• Kill the Highvale Warden and retrieve the Warden’s Satchel.
• Click on the Warden’s Satchel in your Quest Bag to begin the quest: Fools Take the High Road.
• Return to Goldmead and seekout Tressa Vashas. Turn in.
• Tressa Vashas instructs you to return South and slay Elys Plainsong @ 14.6k / 55.3k and take her head. Make your way to the Plainsong Tower in the South West corner of Tor Elyr and place it on the Tor Elyr Table in plain view.
• Interact with the Tor Elyr Table @ 4.8k / 63.1k to place her head on the platter. (If in a group - be sure you click Complete on the Tor Elyr Table step)
• Be prepared to defend yourself against Garlan Plainsong. Kill Garlan Plainsong (Hero Lvl 19).
• Note: if you fail to defend yourself and the enemy has despawned, you will have to abandon the quest and restart it from the Tor Elyr Table.
• Return to Tressa Vashas in Goldmead to turn in and receive the Dark Lore.

• Use it to upgrade your Explorer’s Tome with Tressa Vashas, a Merchant. The Dark Lore and one of the three book pocket items (Adventurer’s Handbook. The Librams of Insight, or The Book of BOOM) are required for the purchase of the tome’s upgrade to Vol. II.

Greenskin Race Quest: Mad Rivalry

Beginning the Quest:

• Fly to Barak Varr to Foulthooth’s Warcamp and head North across the bay of the Port’s Gate Coast.
• Search the rocky pass North East of Mobash’s Place for the Stormhoof Halfhorn (Champion Lvl 19) patrolling the area between Stonebeard’s Forge and the Stormhoof Raiders in the pass.
• Kill Stormhoof Halfhorn and get the Marked Bone.
• Click on the Marked Bone in your Quest Bag to begin the quest: Mad Rivalry.
• Head to Mobash’s Place - Greenskin Chapter 9 and find Nubzub Muncha. Turn in.
• Nubzub Muncha tells you to search the woods for the beastigor, Kraargh @ 46.9k / 4.5k.
• Kill Kraargh and take Kraargh’s Skull.
• Head North West to the Stormhoof Trophy Pile at the base of the Dwarf Statue and toss Kraargh’s Skull onto the pile. (If in a group - be sure you click Complete on the (If in a group - be sure you click Complete on the Stormhoof Trophy Pilet step)
• Be prepared to defend yourself against Bray Rahrgul. Kill Bray Rahrgul (Hero Lvl 19).
• Note: if you fail to defend yourself and the enemy has despawned, you will have to abandon the quest and restart it from the Stormhoof Trophy Pile.
• Return to Nubzub Muncha Mobash’s Place to turn in and receive Sumfing Speshul.

• Use it to upgrade your Explorer’s Tome with Nubzub Muncha, a Merchant. The Sumfing Speshul and one of the three book pocket items (Adventurer’s Handbook. The Librams of Insight, or The Book of BOOM) are required for the purchase of the tome’s upgrade to Vol. II.
