Empire T3 Epic Quest Cleansing an Empire
First, you have to take the quest "Cleansing an Empire" in High Pass at the Empire Chapter 10 from Gerard Cammen.
Step by Step Guide
Step 1
Scout the 'Foetid Plains' PQ by killing a Slavering Frond or a Bulbous Daemonvine.
Report back to Gerard Cammen when complete.
Step 2
Kill 15 Slavering Frond located in the same PQ as before.
Return to Gerard Cammen when complete.
Step 3
Travel southeast near the PQ 'Temple of Change' and speak with Avurel Greywind outside the temple.
Step 4
Enter the Temple of Change and kill 12 Changing Zealots. Then deep inside the temple, interact with the Greystone to loot it.
Return to Avurel Greywind when done.
Step 5
Travel southeast to the Empire Chapter 12 and use the Greystone of Unchanging in your inventory near Konrad Riese and Derek Hutchke.
Once done, speak with Derek Hutchke.
Step 6
Kill Doctor Zumwald near the center of the 'Shrine of Tzeentch' PQ to loot the Plaguesworn Logs.
Use the Plaguesworn Logs to complete and turn in your quest.
Step 7
Return the Plaguesworn Logs to Derek Hutchke at the Empire Chapter 12.
Step 8
Run east to speak with Mathilde Drum at 55.6k/57.7k.
Step 9
Interact with the 'Zumwald Artifact' near Mathilde to make spawn the Mutated Zumwald. Once spawned, kill him.
Talk to Mathilde Drum again.
Step 10
Travel south to Talabecland and speak to Elise Lang at 53.3k/19k.
Step 11
Travel northeast to the Empire Chapter 13 and report to Strom Von Heynau.
Step 12
Run southwest and speak with Lucius Hausen at the Empire Chapter 14.
Step 13
Go to the 'Unterbaum Cemetery' PQ nearby and kill:
- 3 Mindless Farmers
- 3 Mindless Priests
- 3 Mindless Guards
Return to Lucius Hausen when done.
Step 14
Kill 8 Rotting Citizens and 8 Rotting Watchmen.
Return to Lucius Hausen when complete.
Step 15
Run far to the west to:
- Purify yourself by using the Connell's Torch and Flint in your inventory near the Shrine of Sigmar (2.7k/61k)
- Kill 5 Bane Warriors
- Kill 3 Bane Magi
- Kill a Bane Herald
Return to Lucius Hausen when you have finished.
Step 16
Click on the Guilty Pyre at 41.5k/40.7k to loot the Heretic's Fork.
Click on the Guilty Cage at 34k/45.7k to loot the Tilean Boot.
Click on the Guilty Rack at 44k/50k to loot the Pear of Anguish.
Return with the items to Lucius Hausen.
Step 17
Kill Eustasius Lang (Champion level 30) in the Castle Schloss in Unterbaum at the top floor.
Return to Lucius Hausen to finish this Epic Quest, and claim your reward.
