API:SetNamesAndTitlesFont
From RoR Wiki
UI Lua API · Interface functions
Version: WAR 1.4.8
Sets the fonts used for the names and titles shown above characters in the game world.
SetNamesAndTitlesFont(namesFont, titlesFont)
Arguments
- namesFont
string– Name of a UI font, used for names.- titlesFont
string– Name of a UI font, used for titles.
Returns
Nothing.
Details
- Each name is compared with the font currently in use (case does not matter). If it is the same, or if no UI font with that name exists, that font is left unchanged.
- After both fonts are set, the client rebuilds the name displays of the objects in the world. This happens on every call, even if neither font changed.
- The font names are the names the UI's font definitions register, such as
font_name_plate_names. - The function needs at least two arguments and only reads the last two.
Errors
None besides the generic Invalid Parameters message when an argument is not a string.
Example
The default at interface start-up, from interfacecore/interfacecore.lua:
SetNamesAndTitlesFont( "font_name_plate_names_old", "font_name_plate_titles_old" )
