What are Guild Coins?

A Guild Coin. All the cool kids have them.

Guild Coins are a special currency earned by completing quests in either Sigmar's Hammer or the The Viper Pit.

These coins can be spent on a number of special items, including Best-in-Slot Mounts with unique appearances, Renown Potions, and more!

Once your Guild is Rank 37, you can start spending Guild Coins, and you can start earning them much earlier.

How do I earn Guild Coins?

There are four Quests that grant guild Coins. Those are:

  • Lock a Zone as a Guild: Lock a Zone in 6-man guild party. Important: Use the .guildinvolve command to get your guild credit for this quest. This will drain ~30 gold from your Guild Bank, and grants a 5% Renown Bonus for guildmates in the zone.
  • Win a Scenario as a Guild: Win a Scenario while in a 6-man guild group.
  • Kill a Dungeon Boss as a Guild: Defeat a Dungeon Boss while in a 6-man guild group. Note: In Dungeons like Gunbad, this boss must be a "Final" Wing boss, like 'Ard Ta Feed, etc.
  • Win a City Siege as a Guild: Win a City Instance while in a 6-man guild group. Note: Make sure your 6-man party is a guild group when you queue for the City, as it may not count otherwise.
Take Guild Quests from Sigmar's Hammer or The Viper Pit.

These quests can be done once per week, and reset just prior to a full 7 days so that your guild can schedule weekly runs at the same time.

What can I buy with Guild Coins?

The full list of Guild Coin Purchases includes:

Special Guild Mounts

The best-in-slot mounts in the game can also be earned with Guild Coins. These feature a reduced 45% chance to be dismounted, as well as a unique appearance so you can feel snazzy while showing off among all your plebeian friends who ride basic peon mounts.

While these mounts were previously only temporary, you may now purchase permanent versions for 25 Guild Coins and 100 gold. Each Race has unique and special variants, which you can preview in Altdorf's Southwest War Quarter and Southwest of The Monolith in The Inevitable City prior to purchasing.

A sample of the special Guild Coin-only Mounts.

Design specifics vary by race, but the general breakdown for Guild Mounts are:

  • 30-day Temporary Guild Coin Mounts (5 Guild Coins, RR60 to use)
  • Permanent Guild Coin Mounts (25 Guild Coins, 100 Gold, RR60 to use)
