Dwarf do go in for magic. Unlike humans and their allies, Dwarfs are extremely resistant to magic, and they are prevented from feeling or manipulating its flow. Runes, on the other hand, are a whole different story.

Runes have an old power. Their carving is a ritual so refined taht the results are as predictable as rocks rolling down hill. The keepers of this art are the Runepriests, adepts and sages who spend their lives learning the language and usage of runes. With their craft, they can create effects of stunning power, accosting their foes with the might of the earth itself. They can also harden their allies against the most damaging attacks, as well as heal their wounds.
