Bone Giants were beings created millenia ago by the ancient Liche Priests in imitation of the legendary Giants of old. Made to resemble an immense warrior of Nehekhara, the Bone Giant is armed with traditional weapons and armour on a mighty scale. It is a rare thing to see a Bone Giant beyond the sands of Khemri, since they are one of the greatest and most highly prized weapons at the disposal of the Tomb Kings. If one of the constructs is destroyed, its sacred pieces are gathered up and used to recreate it.

Those that are found outside the dead cities of Nehekhara stand as motionless sentinels, guarding important valley entrances and gateways. Such power is instilled in the Bone Giants that they do not need the incantations of the Liche Priests to prompt them into wakefulness, and will react immediately to the presence of unwelcome strangers. Bone Giants are implacable warriors, resistant to damage, fatigue, and loss of morale. In battle they move deliberately, but are more than capable of marching across the field in a few strides where their massive weapons can smash enemies to a pulp.

Bone Giants, despite their name, are not the animated remains of a single Giant. Rather, they are the amalgamated pieces of many other dead beings melded into an Undead creature of great size, and which is held together by the darkest magical power.
