Meant to save a text log to a file. In the current client it does nothing except check that the log exists.

TextLogSaveLog(logName, fileName)

Arguments

logName

string – Name of the text log.

fileName

wstring – File name. Read but not used.

Returns

Nothing.

Details

• No file is written. To save a log, use TextLogSetIncrementalSaving, which writes each new entry as it arrives.
• The function needs at least two arguments and only reads the last two. Any extra arguments placed in front of them are ignored.
• The stock UI never calls this function.

Errors

• Error in function call 'TextLogSaveLog': Text Log %s does not exist

Example

A minimal example built from the documented signature:

TextLogSaveLog( "Chat", L"logs/chat.log" )  -- has no effect
