UI Lua API · Game functions
Version: WAR 1.4.8

Turns the map pins of a quest on or off.

SetTrackQuestPin(questId, track)

Arguments

questId
number – Id of a quest in the player's quest log.
track
boolean – true to show the quest's pins on the map, false to hide them.

Returns

Nothing.

Details

  • Works like SetTrackQuest but on a separate list of 40 slots for map pins.
  • If the player does not have a quest with that id, or the list is full, nothing happens.
  • When the list changes, the client sends the new state to the server, refreshes the quest's map pins, sets GameData.Player.questsDirty to true and notifies the UI that quest data changed.
  • track must be a real boolean. Passing nil or a number raises an Invalid Parameters error.
  • The function needs at least two arguments and only reads the last two.

Errors

None besides the Invalid Parameters argument check.

Example

From easystem_utils/source/questutils.lua:

SetTrackQuestPin( questData.id, not questData.trackingPin )
