Returns the current value of the "use Lua error handling" setting.

enabled = GetUseLuaErrorHandling()

Arguments

None.

Returns

enabled

boolean – The value last stored by SetUseLuaErrorHandling.

Details

• The value is a single flag held by the client. SetUseLuaErrorHandling writes it and this function reads it back.
• The stock UI uses it only in the debug window (ea_uidebugtools), to show and toggle the "code error handling" option.

None.

Example

Toggling the setting, from ea_uidebugtools/source/debugwindow.lua:

local enabled = GetUseLuaErrorHandling()
enabled = not enabled

SetUseLuaErrorHandling( enabled )
