UI Lua API · DynamicImage functions
Version: WAR 1.4.8

Sets the scale at which a DynamicImage draws its texture.

DynamicImageSetTextureScale(imageName, scale)

Arguments

imageName
string – Name of a DynamicImage window.
scale
number – Texture scale. Larger values show a smaller part of the texture over the same window, so the texture appears larger.

Returns

Nothing.

Details

  • When no texture dimensions are set (see DynamicImageSetTextureDimensions), the area taken from the texture is the window's size divided by scale.
  • Do not pass 0: the client divides by the scale.
  • The function needs at least two arguments and only reads the last two.

Errors

  • Error in function call 'DynamicImageSetTextureScale': Window %s does not exist
  • Error in function call 'DynamicImageSetTextureScale': Window %s is not a DynamicImage

Example

From ea_overheadmapwindow/source/overheadmapwindow.lua:

DynamicImageSetTextureScale(iconFrame, filterData.scale)
DynamicImageSetTextureSlice(iconFrame, filterData.slice)
