This page contains spoilers and solutions for the Treasure Hunt scrolls acquired in the Seas of Slaughter Live Event.

How to get a Treasure Hunt Scroll

Interact with Dirt piles in the RvR lakes during the event to acquire a Buried Crate which grants a random Treasure Scroll.

To acquire a scroll, look first for Dirt piles scattered around the RvR lakes. These are often near Battlefield Objectives, but may also be found in various places in the maps.

Interacting with a Pile of Dirt grants the player a Buried Crate that contains a random Scroll.

  • If you are in a party, you can all acquire crates if you interact with the Dirt Pile at the same time.
  • The interact cooldown on a Pile of Dirt is approximately 2 minutes.
  • You can still interact with Dirtpiles in non-active RvR Lakes.

Scroll Identifiers

Each Scroll has a description which tells you the quest it will grant once you open it. Hover over the description of the item to read this.

  • Unopened Scrolls can be traded to other players or sold on the marketplace
  • Unopened Scrolls can also be mailed to alternate characters
  • Each character can only complete a Treasure Quest once.

Digging with a Spade

  • Once you break open the scroll, an item will appear in your Quest Inventory.
  • Right click this Quest Item to begin the quest, and a Digging Spade will appear in your Quest Inventory.
  • To solve the Treasure Hunt, use this Digging Spade at the correct place in the open world, and the quest will complete!

Sometimes you may need to move around a little and keep clicking the Digging Spade to ensure you're in the perfect location. The cooldown on the digging spade is extremely short, so you can click it as much as you like.

Treasure Hunt Rewards & Solutions

You can acquire a number of bonus rewards by completing Treasure Hunt Quests, most of which hint at a zone and coordinates on the map. Some are two coordinates, which represent the normal X/Y position on the map.

Others have four coordinate locations. If you plot out all four of these coordinates on the correct map, and draw an X between the points, you will find the treasure in the middle - "X Marks the Spot".

Some Treasure quests are also different for both Order and Destruction, which are noted below.

Finally, a "Tier" ranking has been added to easily filter the highest value Scrolls for most players. These are assigned by the Wiki editors, and some players may value the rewards differently, so be sure to check the full list of rewards to ensure you dig up all the treasure that speaks to you!
