Elf Heraldry Shields

Elf Heraldry Shields are new cosmetic shields added to the game in the July 2023 update.

These shields represent the Kingdoms of the High Elves and the Factions of the Dark Elves, and can be worn by Swordmasters and Black Guards.

12 new cosmetic shields for High Elves and 12 new cosmetic shields for Dark Elves were created.

Besides players earning them, many High Elf Warcamps have had NPCs adjusted from generic "Shining Guard", into defenders who wear the heraldry of their kingdom.

Earning the Shields

Players can earn these shields by completing specific quests.

There are two tiers of shields to earn: Silver and Gold.

After earning the Silver shield, players who meet certain requirements (listed below) will be able to take a second quest to upgrade to the Gold trimmed version. The Gold Trimmed shields will launch by the fall of 2023.

Pavise of the Dragon Gate

• Required Level: 12
• Starting NPC: Meriddren Alderwell, Chapter 7 camp, Shadowlands
• Task: Complete a Hard PQ

Pavise of Nagarythe

• Required Level: 18
• Starting NPC: Aesanar Messenger, north of Chapter 7 camp, Shadowlands
• Task: Kill Dark Elves in High Elf T2 RvR
