The Tainted Child quest is an Epic Branching Quest.
Collect the quest from Pyotr Kaminksy in Altdorf 25,17 during the Feast of Shoika Live Event.
- Speak with Erich Weisseklaue 12, 38
- Travel to Nordland
- Participate in the Pillager's Approach PQ
- Report to Kristof Bruener at 32, 18
CAUTION: AFTER COMPLETING THIS QUEST YOU WILL BE GIVEN A CHOICE OF TWO QUESTS. ONE (Path of Blood) IS A PVP-FOCUSED ROUTE, THE OTHER (Path of Sweat) IS PVE-FOCUSED. YOU CAN ONLY CHOOSE ONE PATH. THE PVP ROUTE MAY BE FASTER BUT DOES NOT OFFER UNIQUE REWARDS.

- Kill Gustav the Tainted at 31, 41
- Report to Captain Kleinke 55, 57.5
- Travel to Troll Country and seek out Baba Kartoflana 37.5, 51
CAUTION: AFTER TURNING IN THIS QUEST YOU WILL HAVE TWO OPTIONS HOW TO PROCEED: Farmer's Plight (PVE) or Hag Wars (PVE) TAKING ONE PREVENTS YOU FROM TAKING THE OTHER.

- Travel to Troll Country at ~ 7, 42.5
- Kill emaciated Cow, Kill pregnant sow, Kill 10 scrawny rabbits, Take basket of tomatoes, Take basket of apples
- Return to Baba Kartoflana
- Travel to Ostland
- Talk to Hansa Gruber at 31, 27
- Participate in the Siege of Bohsenfels PQ and Participate in the Black Mire PQ
