RvR Random Events

RvR Random Events are special encounters that occur (as the name implies) randomly within the RvR Lakes in Return of Reckoning.

There are different Events which can be selected, some with different conditions required for activation. For a list of events, and how they work, please see below.

Types of Random Events

Ravenous Rage

• Event Type: PvPvE
• Activation Condition: Both factions must have at least one warband in the RvR lakes.
• AAO Requirement: Must be less than 40% AAO in total
• Reward: Potion of Invigoration

In the Ravenous Rage Event, an Ogre Mercenary arrives, hungry and eager to confiscate whatever supplies he can find! Whichever faction deals more damage to the Ogre and finishes it off wins the event.

While the Ogre is active, he will strangle supply lines, preventing either faction from capturing or spawning supply boxes at the nearest BO until he is defeated.

To gain the reward for this event, players must be within range of the Ogre as he is defeated.

Tips:

• If the enemy faction has the Ogre, look for healers or casters near the back who can be focused to put the enemy warbands at a disadvantage for a possible push in.
• Likewise, if you are holding the Ogre, position your squishy allies in a safe position where a flank is unlikely to surprise or catch your warbands off-guard.
• When charging, remember that the team with the Ogre likely has Morales ready! Avoid or use these to your advantage, depending on your position.

King of the Hill

• Event Type: PvP
• Activation Condition: Both factions must have at least one Warband in the RvR lakes
• AAO Requirement: AAO must be at least 20% or greater
• Reward: To be announced in April patch
