UI Lua API import (WAR 1.4.8)

New page

{{LuaApi|group=Interface}}
Returns whether the client is an internal (developer) build. In the Return of Reckoning client it always returns
false
.

isInternal = IsInternalBuild()

== Arguments ==
None.

== Returns ==
;isInternal :
boolean
– Always
false
.

== Details ==
* The value is hard-coded in the client. Code paths that the stock UI guards with
IsInternalBuild()
never run.
* The stock UI passes the result as the last argument of [[API:ModuleLoad|ModuleLoad]] and [[API:ModulesLoadFromListFile|ModulesLoadFromListFile]]. With
false
there, those functions only accept a file that is inside the game archives.

== Errors ==
None.

== Example ==
From
ea_uidebugtools/source/debugwindow.lua
:

if( IsInternalBuild() and (InterfaceCore.inGame == false) and TextLogGetEnabled( "UiLog" ) )

Passing it on to the module loader, from
interfacecore/interfacecore.lua
:

ModuleLoad( modFilePath, SystemData.UiModuleType.PREGAME, IsInternalBuild() )
