'''Serpent's Passage''' is a salvage scenario on the coast of an island near the Isle of the Dead. Two ships have run aground, and both realms are fighting to recover supplies from the Ancient Shipwreck.

== At a glance ==
* Players: 6 to 12 per realm
* Time limit: 12 minutes
* Player kills: 3 points
* Winning score: 500 points
* Objective: Recover salvage from the Ancient Shipwreck for your realm

== How to play ==
# Head toward the Ancient Shipwreck and contest the salvage objective with your group.
# Carry recovered salvage toward your realm's delivery point. Check the in-game objective markers for the current objective and route.
# Protect your carrier and stop the enemy from delivering their salvage. If your carrier is defeated and the salvage drops, regroup and contest it.
# Player kills add 3 points. Your realm wins by reaching 500 points or by having the higher score when the 12-minute timer ends.

== Tips ==
* Stay with your group when approaching the wreck. A carrier is easier to protect when allies can clear the route.
* Watch the objective display so you know which realm has the salvage and where it needs to go.
* Focus on completing the objective as well as fighting. Kills contribute to the score, but salvage delivery is the scenario's central task.

The scenario's setting and objective are described in a [https://returnofreckoning.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=224919 scenario summary on the RoR forums]. A 2016 [https://returnofreckoning.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=13939 patch note] records a change to salvage delivery scoring and carrier restrictions; exact salvage values are not listed here because those historical settings may have changed.
