View source for API:GetLoadLuaDebugLibrary

{{LuaApi|group=Interface}}
Returns the current value of the "load Lua debug library" setting.

<pre>
enabled = GetLoadLuaDebugLibrary()
</pre>

== Arguments ==
None.

== Returns ==
;enabled : <code>boolean</code> – The value last stored by [[API:SetLoadLuaDebugLibrary|SetLoadLuaDebugLibrary]].

== Details ==
* The value is a single flag held by the client. [[API:SetLoadLuaDebugLibrary|SetLoadLuaDebugLibrary]] writes it and this function reads it back.
* The stock UI checks it when <code>ea_uidebugtools/source/debug.lua</code> loads. If it is <code>true</code>, <code>assert</code> is wrapped to print a stack trace; otherwise <code>assert</code> is replaced with an empty function.

== Errors ==
None.

== Example ==
From <code>ea_uidebugtools/source/debug.lua</code>:
<pre>
if (GetLoadLuaDebugLibrary ())
then
    luaAssert = assert
    ...
else
    function assert () end
end
</pre>
