== Mitterfruhl ==

'''Mitterfruhl''' is an Easter-timed event that takes place in ''Return of Reckoning''.

Spring is in the air, and with the celebrations of Mitterfruhl, brave warriors scour the lands for the perfect griffon egg to offer to the gods. Only the largest and most beautifully painted eggs will serve to gain Sigmar's favor. Worshippers of Taal & Rhya sacrifice spring lambs for the promise of a bumper harvest in Autumn.

Mitterfruhl marks the start of the spring season. Daring warriors search across the lands for the largest griffon eggs, which they will attempt to paint beautifully to offer to their chosen gods. Join your realm in securing griffon eggs and earning the favor of your gods, so that it may last you throughout the summer! Let the egg hunt begin!

Similar to the Eastern Wyvern event in base design, Mitterfruhl replaces Wyverns with Griffons, introducing special limited-time Griffon mounts, Egg Trophies, and more!

== Hunt and Collect Eggs! ==

The entire world of Warhammer Online, primarily in the PVE and open world areas, is filled with Griffon Eggs to hunt and find! The RvR lake has some, but far fewer than the rest of the world, to help reduce chat spam while in the lakes.

*When you enter an area, center-screen and chat messages will appear to alert you with many eggs are nearby. These messages only appear if an egg is active and can be picked up.

*When you find an egg, click it to kneel down and interact with it for a few seconds. After you finish, the egg cracks and goes into your inventory!

Next, when you're ready, right click the Egg in your inventory to open it and see what item you get. The items which can be found from Griffon Eggs include:

*Dyes (common, rare, and very rare specular)
*Healing Potions
*Action Point Potions
*Griffon Mount Egg (Semi-rare, 6 versions)
*Regenerating Firework Launcher (Less than 1% chance)
*Bottomless Bowl of Custard (Less than 1% chance)
*Aviator Goggles (Less than 1% chance)
*Permanent [[RoR Aegis]] (Less than 1% chance)

Most of what you'll pick up when opening eggs will be dyes, so make sure to either have lots of inventory space open or simply leave your eggs stacked to open later when you're near a bank to store them.

There are also a few jackpot items, listed above, which have extremely low (less than 1%) drop rates. If you get one of these, congratulations - you're very lucky!

== Beware the Griffon Matriarch! ==

There is a small chance that a Matriarch will appear when you first interact with an Egg.

*If the Matriarch arrives, that egg and any others nearby cannot be interacted with while the Matriarch has arrived to protect them.
*This boss is somewhat challenging to solo for most players, but for groups of players hunting together should be possible to kill.
*The chance of a Matriarch appearing is rolled per interact on an egg, so a party of six players together would trigger 6 possible chances for it to spawn as each player clicks.

Because of this, it's generally best to avoid hunting eggs in very large groups, unless you have the patience to handle some Matriarchs each time. It is still possible, though, for a full warband or more of players to coordinate and click an egg at the same time to all get an Egg item from it.

*Tip: Once a Matriarch spawns, it will vanish within approximately 15 Minutes. Sometimes it's best to simply move on and return later once the Matriarch has departed.

== Exclusive Griffon Mounts ==

When opening an Egg, there is a chance you may discover a colored Griffon Mount Egg instead of dyes or other items.

These can be traded in for one of five special Griffon Mounts, which can only be earned during Mitterfruhl. Those are:

*Sunrise Wild Griffon
*Frostwing Wild Griffon
*Moonheart Wild Griffon
*Fiery Dawn Wild Griffon
*Waverider Wild Griffon

Players can also earn a normal "Common" Griffon, which is not colored, but has a slightly larger size.

=== Upgrading Your Griffon ===

By earning the Griffon Training Whistle from the event's Elite Rewards, it is possible to gain a special Griffon mount that lasts for longer than 30 days.

Depending on your renown, these will last longer, and exist for:

*Level 16 (0 renown) + Whistle: 45 Days
*50 Renown + Whistle: 60 Days
*80 Renown + Whistle: 90 Days
*85 Renown + Whistle: 120 Days

To earn these, speak to the vendor in the Event Area and trade them the whistle + the colored Egg of the Griffon you would like.

You can only get a single Training Whistle per character from the event, so make sure to choose your favorite color before exchanging it for an upgraded Griffon!

== Egg Trophies ==

There are over 30 unique Egg Trophies which can be earned exclusively during Mitterfruhl.

Some of these can be purchased with a tradeable currency, allowing players to sell the currency for an egg to other players who might want it. Others are bound-to-account, allowing a player to mail it to another character of the same faction on their account.

These Egg Trophies are broken up into two groups:

*Eggschange Eggs, with more solid colors
*Painted Eggs, which have themed designs

'''Eggschange Eggs''' are earned for achieving specific milestones when hunting Eggs, or for achieving the second reward tier of the Live Event. The currency for these is always bound to your account, and cannot be traded to other players. (You can mail the currency to other characters of the same faction if you want the egg trophies on those.)

'''Painted Eggs''' are faction-specific, and are earned by first finding one of the Eggs used to exchange for a Griffon Mount (above) then using one of the new Live Event dyes to exchange for a Paint Bowl at the vendor in the event area. Next, combine both the Paint Bowl and the Mount Egg to gain a "Painted Egg" item, and donate this at the event area's Altar to gain event credit.

The more Painted Eggs you donate, the more Divine Egg Painting currency items you'll earn. Each of these can be traded for a specially designed Painted Egg Trophy, and this currency can be traded or sold to other players, either as a gift or in exchange for gold or items. Each Divine Egg Painting can only be earned once per character.

== Golden Griffon ==

Active RvR lakes will randomly spawn a Golden Griffon, which will grant buffs to those who find it.

Keep your eyes out for a Gold Griffon relic and claim its fame for yourself! Being among the first players to interact with it will grant a buff for 6 hours which gives:

*+25% renown
*+25% XP Gain
*+25% Influence boost

After six players have interacted with a Golden Griffon, or after six minutes have passed, it will vanish and re-appear somewhere else in the active RvR lake.

== Live Event Tasks ==

Completing various tasks during the Live Event will grant progress towards rewards. Those tasks are:

== Mitterfruhl Live Event Rewards ==

Live Event Heralds and merchants are located at the Temple of Sigmar in Altdorf or The Temple of Change in the Inevitable City.
The rewards for this live event are:
*Basic reward: 10x Griffon Eggs or a 10x Mitterfruhl Dye Box
*Advanced reward: 20x Griffon Eggs,, Potion of Acclaim, or an Eggschange Egg - a currency used to buy unique trophies for this live event.
*Elite reward: Griffon Training Whistle - an item that you can combine with a Griffon Egg to extend the duration of your mount.

The air is heavy with the smell of plunder. Autumn harvests fill up port warehouses. Exotic goods sail into Old World ports before the winter storms come. The seas are full of vessels laden with goods, fortunes waiting to be claimed. So many opportunities for the Pirates of Sartosa to honor Jack o’ the Seas. Hoist the colors high!

South of Tilea, the isle of Sartosa serves as a nest of piracy. The isle is ruled by pirate lords, first among which is the Pirate Princess of Sartosa. The isle's location allows it to ruthlessly plunder trade routes across the Southern Sea, from the coast of Araby and Nehekara in the south to the Tilean Sea in the north, from the Black Gulf in the east to the shores of Estalia at the western end of the Old World. The dwarfs of Barak Varr do what they can to battle against the pirates of Sartosa, but they have greener problems on their horizon. Therefore, unchecked, the pirates of Sartosa cling to the shores of the known world, looting and pillaging throughout Autumn. Rum flows as freely as blood in the Seas of Slaughter.

The end of Autumn marks the high season for piracy, as merchants race to reach safe harbors before the winter storms. The Seas of Slaughter marks the time of year when the Pirates of Sartosa reap their own bloody harvest. Alas, you too are caught up in the winds of piracy. Join the fray as the battle for the high seas rages.

: Sometimes the coin you loot has more to it than meets the eye. You took a cursed coin, so now shed enemy blood until the curse is removed!

* Pillage Supplies 0 / 5
: Venture into the ORvR lakes and loot RvR supplies for your realm.

* Complete the ‘Clearing Your Name’ Quest 0 / 1
: According to the pirate code, any grievances between pirates must be resolved in the form of a duel. Speak with the Blademaster in your capital to clear your name.

* Loot Pirate Treasure 0 / 1
: Pirates are not accustomed to pitched battles and prefer to flee when they don’t have a clear advantage. However, when they flee they bury their goods, instead of slowing themselves down by taking them. Find dirtpiles in the ORvR lakes and dig up pirate scrolls to hunt for buried pirate treasure.

* Protect the Coast 0 / 1
: For Order: Participate in the Norse Are Coming! public quest in [[Nordland]] to secure the northern coast against coastal raids. Participating means completing a single stage.
: For Destruction: Participate in the Suderholm public quest in [[Norsca]] to secure the invasion route of the Empire against coastal raids by meddling pirates. Participating means completing a single stage.

* Complete all Seas of Slaughter Tasks 0 / 10

=Exclusive Seas of Slaughter Event Rewards=
Influence is gained by participating in the Live Event Tasks.

*Basic reward: Cursed Clank, Cursed Shimmy Cursed Karl, or Cursed Guilder pocket items. Though it bears a boon, it comes with a curse that will cost you.
*Advanced reward: The Raider's Grog, a live-event slot item with a pilfer proc, because that's the pirate's way!
*Elite reward: x2 Potions of Acclaim, or a Sartosan Doubloon - a special currency item which you can use to trade in for a pirate-themed cosmetic hat.
 
* Completing the Treasure Hunt Quests - One of the hidden quests contains a live event specific cloak.

=Treasure Hunt Quests=

Ah, the pirate's life is one of booty and bounty. Fighting when the odds are in your favor, yes please! Fighting when the enemy bares their teeth? No thank you. Pirates flee from a fair fight, and as such work in great haste to bury their treasures around the world, and leave notes for themselves how to find those treasures. Located in all the ORvR lakes are dirtpiles which players can interact with to dig up a pirate's secret notes. Clicking on the dirtpile and not getting anything? That means someone beat you to the stash! Come back to it in a few minutes and try your luck... or look further!

Players who successfully unearth a box from a dirtpile will be able to open it and get a scroll tube to start a treasure hunt quest. Scroll tubes are tradeable, so be sure to read the description to see if you've already done the quest, as each quest can only be done once per character! Open your scroll tube and read the scroll to start your journey! There are a total of 32 Treasure Hunt Quests (ranging in difficulty) for you to enjoy... we hope!

Feastmasters, sharpen your blades for the fattened calves. The Overtyrant demands to celebrate the end of the raiding season with a massive feast. The Great Maw consumes all, and this Great Feast the ogres and their allies will strip the land bare! We shall eat our fill until our bellies burst. The bigger the belly, the warmer the winter!

Greasus Goldtooth, the Overtyrant of all the ogre kingdoms, has declared his annual Great Feast to mark the end of the raiding season in autumn. Any tribe with a resident halfling is sure to feast well! Assist the halflings in making stews to warm the bellies of the ogres, and if a pot lands in your bag, surely the ogres won’t notice…

Halfling chefs are a prized commodity in the ogre tribes, and many a halfling has quickly learned to become a chef if it meant saving their own skin when captured by an ogre tribe. The ogres of the Mountains of Mourn are known to consume massive quantities of meat, but few know how partial they are to halfling stews. They say you can throw anything into a pot and an ogre will consume it with great joy, but only the best recipes truly satisfy the Great Maw. The halfling chefs combine their own knowledge of Old World recipes with those they learned during their travels with mercenary ogre bands across the lands, and this Great Feast, they're ready to cook up their most famous stews.

* Elite reward: Rhinox of Mourn, or Corrupted Gut Plate Disc mount (decay timers based on renown bracket)

All Live Event Rewards are claimable during the Live Event from at the Live Event Masters: the butchers Mogrub Bleedingfist for Order and Bolron Skinscrapper for Destruction. The live event areas are located in the Flight Deck of Karaz-a-Karak, and the Hall of Da Bestest in Karak Eight Peaks.

=Goldtooth's Great Feast Stews, Halfling Rucksacks, and Marks of the Maw=
It wouldn't be a proper ogre event if it wasn't about eating until your belly was about to burst! Who better to assist the ogres in this task than their loyal(?) halfling chefs! During Goldtooth's Great Feast these chefs have decided to be so kind as to help those with lesser culinary skills to cook amazing stews (i.e. 1-hour liniments).

All you need to do is gather the ingredients, found in Halfling Rucksacks that drop from players. Each Halfling Rucksack drops 3 ingredients from a pool of 15 ingredients. Get the right combination of 3 ingredients, based on the halfling chefs' requirements, and head to their temporary camps at the Flight Deck of Karaz-a-Karak, or in The Hall of Da Bestest in Karak Eight Peaks to toss your ingredients into a cauldron. Buying a cauldron will start the cooking process, because cooking a quality stew takes time, which will say 'decaying in 10 minutes' because we cannot change the text at this time. After 10 minutes your stew will be ready for consumption!

However, you can get more for your products if you buy some barley (x2), potatoes (x3), or horse meat (x5) to thicken your stew! These items can be purchased from the associated halfling chef for Marks of the Maw, which drop from players.
*Please note: The vendor interface at the time of creating this event can only display 3 ingredients maximum, so if you want to buy the stacks of 2, 3, or 5 stews, you must have the multiplier purchased! ((We hope to fix this in the future, but for now we appreciate your understanding, and that you read underlined text.))

=Live Event Shoppe=
*The ogres have been invited, we think... maybe they forced their hosts' hospitality, to Karaz-a-Karak and Karak Eight Peaks. Four vendors sell stews for ingredients; one sells at a ratio of 3 ingredients to 1 stew, while the other three sell the same stews but with output multipliers so a single trio of ingredients combined with a multiplier can yield 2, 3, or 5 stews. Please check all four chefs and check what you want to spend your event resources on.

*Two vendors convert food items to Scraps 'n Bits, which can make Gruels for players below level 40. Other vendors sell dyes, or allow you to trade in a Thankful Egg for a stack of ingredients. Where do you get a Thankful Egg from? Why from a Thankful Fowl of course.

This event was created as a custom event by the RoR Team, and first launched in 2023.

= Event Details =

The unique feature of this live event is the ability to craft custom rings that can become best-in-slot jewelry when used during the event.

After 30 days, the rings lose their Talisman slots and expire into new versions, but the top tier, or 'Annulus' versions, remain powerful and are still best-in-slot for some builds.

= Creating a Custom Ring =

Killing players during this Live Event, as well as killing Daemons in the PvE open world, drop materials. These materials, and their usage, are:

*Ore, which determines the resists (or armor) present on the ring
*Gemstones, which determine the main and secondary stats on the ring
*Aethyr Fragments, which create powerful limited-time talismans that slot into the rings

= Gathering Materials =

Once you collect raw materials, the next step is to refine them.

= Learning a Profession During the Event =

There are three Professions that your character can choose from during this event. These are:

*Ore Refining

*Jewelsmithing

*Artificing

Each character can only learn one of these three. It is possible to learn one each on three different characters, but for many guilds or friend groups, it's likely faster to divide these up and work together as a team to help each other.

To select a Profession, first complete some of the tasks in the Live Event list. Once you reach the first reward tier, select the Quest Starter item from the Herald for the profession you'd like to learn, and complete that quest.

Once the quest is complete, you'll be able to earn tools to process the raw materials you find during the event!

= Earning & Using Refining Tools =

To refine a material, like Ore and Gemstones, you'll need to use the associated tool and trade this tool to a vendor along with the material to refine.

This will grant you back an item that will randomly select rarity for the resulting item. (More on this below.)

You earn tools by completing Repeatable Quests. These are available for both PvP and PvE routes, and are:

*PvP Quest: Kill 20 Players and Mine Deposit x2
*PvE Quest: Kill 125 Twilight Daemons, Mine Deposit x4

You can accept both quests at once.

Once you complete them and have tools, speak to the "Refining Specialist" NPCs next to the quest turn-ins to begin processing your materials.

= Material Rarity =

When you process Ore, Gemstones, and Aethyr Fragments, the rarity you get back is randomly selected each time.

The most common result is a Green rarity material. Blue rarity results are somewhat rare, Purple are rare, and Mythic (orange) are very rare.

= Re-rolling Materials =

Refining Specialist NPCs will also let you re-roll lower rarity materials for another shot at a higher rarity. This gives you another RNG pull, with the same rates as normal processing.

The higher the rarity of the material you're re-rolling, the less you'll need. The ratio is:

*3x Green Rarity Material for 1 Re-roll
*2x Blue Rarity Material for 1 Re-roll
*1x Purple Rarity Material for 1 Re-roll

= Guaranteed Rarity Upgrades =

Refining Specialists will also allow you to trade in a larger amount of a lower rarity material for a higher rarity version, up to Purple rarity.

The trades are:

*Blue Rarity Material - Requires 10 of the Green Rarity of this type
*Purple Rarity Material - Requires 5 of the Blue Rarity of this type

So as an example, you can trade in 10 Green Rarity Iron Bars to get a single Blue Rarity Iron Bar in return.

Unlike the Re-rolling path, this will always guarantee you the upgrade in rarity, but note that the top-tier rarity required for Annulus rings can only be earned through lucky pulls when processing.

= Building your Ring, Step 1: Ore =

When you're ready to build your ring, you'll want to decide which materials to use, as the specific mats you choose will determine both the defensive and offensive stats.

First, decide which type of defense you'd like for your ring. The Ore types, and the defenses they bring, are:

Once you know the type of Ring you want to create and have your materials on-hand, it's time to pick up your first ring from the Vendors!

These vendors are located in Southern Altdorf (on either side of the Top Renown Player statues) for Order, and in The Inevitable City's Slaanesh Quarters (Southwest corner of IC) for Destruction.

'''Important:''' Level 31 Rings will always stay level 31 rings, and cannot be upgraded to level 40. So, if you want to make Annulus rings, which are generally the most sought-after item in this event, make sure you start with the level 40 Green rings.

Once you trade the items in for a Green Ring at the level you want, you can then move to the nearby vendor and trade both the ring and additional materials to upgrade the ring to the next rarity.

Because you're going to lose this talisman once the ring's 30 day window passes, and because Twilight's Tide talismans are more powerful, it's recommended to use an Event Talisman.

While Twilight's Tide rings are not ideal for every build, they can be very useful for most.

*Many builds that use Twilight's Tide Rings focus on using 2 of the rings. (Accessory Slots 1 and 2.)
**This is because the Sentinel or Triumphant Ring (which accepts the most powerful Talismans) goes into Slot 3, and the Sovereign accessory goes into Slot 4.

*It's true that builds running Twilight's Tide Rings have less overall stat points than other builds because there is no attached set bonus.
**However, for glass cannon builds or builds that want specific stats like extra armor, healing crit, etc, this trade can still be very worthwhile.

= Upgrading Expired Rings =

Players who create level 40 Purple Rings but do not manage to upgrade them fully to Annulus rings before the 30-day timer runs out can now do so at a special vendor on the isle of the dead.

As you first enter the map, look near the Healer for the "Time Lost Annulus Mastersmith" (Order) or "Bloodsmith" (Destruction), who will accept expired Level 40 Purple Rings and upgrade them to Annulus Rings.

The required materials for the upgrade are the same as the normal vendors.

= Tips and Advice for Ring Building =

*PvP (either [https://wiki.returnofreckoning.com/Open_RvR_Guide| RvR] or [https://wiki.returnofreckoning.com/Scenario_Guide| Scenarios]) is often the most efficient way to get ring materials, provided you have enemies to fight and can consistently get kills.

*If your realm is having a hard time or you're hitting a wall on the PvP front, it is also possible to farm materials via PvE mobs. Each High Elf Zone on the map has locations with lots of PvE Daemons.
** PvE farming can also be very worthwhile in small groups, provided your team is efficient in PvE and you have an uncontested farming area to kill mobs. (Often, players will compete over mob spawns.)

*If you're a new player and you don't care for a ring or if a ring isn't best-in-slot for your build, selling materials via the Auction House can also result in huge profits during this event.

The most common result is a Green rarity material. Blue rarity results are somewhat rare, Purple are rare, and Mythic (orange) are very rare.

= Re-rolling Materials =

Refining Specialist NPCs will also let you re-roll lower rarity materials for another shot at a higher rarity. This gives you another RNG pull, with the same rates as normal processing.

The higher the rarity of the material you're re-rolling, the less you'll need. The ratio is:

*3x Green Rarity Material for 1 Re-roll
*2x Blue Rarity Material for 1 Re-roll
*1x Purple Rarity Material for 1 Re-roll

= Guaranteed Rarity Upgrades =

Refining Specialists will also allow you to trade in a larger amount of a lower rarity material for a higher rarity version, up to Purple rarity.

The trades are:

*Blue Rarity Material - Requires 10 of the Green Rarity of this type
*Purple Rarity Material - Requires 5 of the Blue Rarity of this type

So as an example, you can trade in 10 Green Rarity Iron Bars to get a single Blue Rarity Iron Bar in return.

Unlike the Re-rolling path, this will always guarantee you the upgrade in rarity, but note that the top-tier rarity required for Annulus rings can only be earned through lucky pulls when processing.

= Building your Ring, Step 1: Ore =

When you're ready to build your ring, you'll want to decide which materials to use, as the specific mats you choose will determine both the defensive and offensive stats.

First, decide which type of defense you'd like for your ring. The Ore types, and the defenses they bring, are:

Once you know the type of Ring you want to create and have your materials on-hand, it's time to pick up your first ring from the Vendors!

These vendors are located in Southern Altdorf (on either side of the Top Renown Player statues) for Order, and in The Inevitable City's Slaanesh Quarters (Southwest corner of IC) for Destruction.

'''Important:''' Level 31 Rings will always stay level 31 rings, and cannot be upgraded to level 40. So, if you want to make Annulus rings, which are generally the most sought-after item in this event, make sure you start with the level 40 Green rings.

Once you trade the items in for a Green Ring at the level you want, you can then move to the nearby vendor and trade both the ring and additional materials to upgrade the ring to the next rarity.

*Level 11 and 21 Rings can upgrade only once, up to Blue Rarity
*Level 31 Rings can upgrade twice, to a maximum of Purple Rarity
*Level 40 Rings can upgrade three times, to Annulus (Mythic) Rarity

Upgrading a Ring will also remove any slotted Talismans, so it's best to wait until you're at the final stage of your ring before putting in an event talisman.

= Building your Ring, Step 4: Slotting the Talisman =

Finally, it's time to add a powerful Talisman to your ring to complete it. You have a few options here:

*Normal Talismans, like +23 or +24 of a stat can be slotted
*Twilight's Tide Talismans, which are stronger than normal Talismans, can also be slotted

Because you're going to lose this talisman once the ring's 30 day window passes, and because Twilight's Tide talismans are more powerful, it's recommended to use an Event Talisman.

While Twilight's Tide rings are not ideal for every build, they can be very useful for most.

*Many builds that use Twilight's Tide Rings focus on using 2 of the rings. (Accessory Slots 1 and 2.)
**This is because the Sentinel or Triumphant Ring (which accepts the most powerful Talismans) goes into Slot 3, and the Sovereign accessory goes into Slot 4.

*It's true that builds running Twilight's Tide Rings have less overall stat points than other builds because there is no attached set bonus.
**However, for glass cannon builds or builds that want specific stats like extra armor, healing crit, etc, this trade can still be very worthwhile.

= Upgrading Expired Rings =

Players who create level 40 Purple Rings but do not manage to upgrade them fully to Annulus rings before the 30-day timer runs out can now do so at a special vendor on the isle of the dead.

As you first enter the map, look near the Healer for the "Time Lost Annulus Mastersmith" (Order) or "Bloodsmith" (Destruction), who will accept expired Level 40 Purple Rings and upgrade them to Annulus Rings.

The required materials for the upgrade are the same as the normal vendors.

= Tips and Advice for Ring Building =

*PvP (either [https://wiki.returnofreckoning.com/Open_RvR_Guide| RvR] or [https://wiki.returnofreckoning.com/Scenario_Guide| Scenarios]) is often the most efficient way to get ring materials, provided you have enemies to fight and can consistently get kills.

*If your realm is having a hard time or you're hitting a wall on the PvP front, it is also possible to farm materials via PvE mobs. Each High Elf Zone on the map has locations with lots of PvE Daemons.
** PvE farming can also be very worthwhile in small groups, provided your team is efficient in PvE and you have an uncontested farming area to kill mobs. (Often, players will compete over mob spawns.)

*If you're a new player and you don't care for a ring or if a ring isn't best-in-slot for your build, selling materials via the Auction House can also result in huge profits during this event.

=Pyre Blessings=
Journey to Altdorf or the Inevitable City to speak with your local pyromaniac, the Priest of Dazh or Cultist of Flames respectively. Slay Kislevite bulls and be rewarded with Prayers to the Pyre, which you can write your most sincere prayers upon before casting them into the pyre and waiting for your god's reply. Be careful, for the gods know the value of your prayers, and not all are worthy of a blessing.

Note: The Pyre Offerings are a BLUE currency, so check your [[Auto-roll|auto-rolls]]. These merchants will offer you foods and drinks from the northern lands, and are required for the new specular dyes. Feast while you can, because after the feast comes the famine.

=The Ancient Widow ORvR PQ=
A spirit as old as the land of Kislev has reappeared in Kislev during this Feast of Shoika, a powerful being bent on cleansing the land of all those who do not respect it. Needless to say, that is everyone. Join your realm in battling the Ancient Widow in the streets of Praag, while you hold back the opposing realm. This PQ will include a handful of rewards exclusive to the PQ.

: Kill the sacred beasts of Kislev located in [[Norsca]], [[Troll Country]], [[High Pass]], and [[Praag]].

* Complete the Offerings to Dazh (for Order) or Flames of Change (For Destruction) 0 / 3
: For Order: Go to Altdorf and speak to the Priest of Dazh.
: For Destruction: Go to the Inevitable City and speak to the Cultist of Flames.

* Complete the Witch of the North PQ 0 / 1
: Journey to the center of Praag and join the struggle against the spirit of Kislev.

*Complete all Feast of Shoika Tasks 0 / 10 

=Exclusive Feast of Shoika Event Rewards=
Influence is gained by participating in the Live Event Tasks.
* Basic reward: [[Kossar's Helm]] or The [[Feast of Shoika Alcohol Sampler]]
* Advanced reward: Your very own orphaned [[Oblast Elk Fawn]] or [[Lynsk Bear Cub]], or The [[Feast of Shoika Dye Satchel]] containing four random dyes from the Feast of Shoika
* Elite reward: [[Potion of Acclaim]], the [[Oblast Elk Saddle]], or [[Lynsk Bear Saddle]] / [[Bound Ice Daemon]] (these items can be traded for a mount at a vendor in your capital).

All Live Event rewards are only available during the Live Event from the associated heralds: [[Konstanty Tarnowsky]] in the Altdorf Market, or [[Chief Zhan'daq]] in the Inevitable City Apex.

=Live Event Shoppe=
Collect [[Pyre Offering]]s by killing players in ORvR or Scenarios and trade them in with merchants in your Empire/Chaos capital cities.
All Live Event rewards are only available from the associated heralds:

* [[Baba Drozdzowka]] in the Inevitable City.

NOTE: Redeem your Pyre Offerings during the Event, for once the Event is over - these merchants will be gone until next year!

=Pyre Blessings=
Journey to Altdorf or the Inevitable City to speak with your local pyromaniac, the Priest of Dazh or Cultist of Flames respectively. Slay Kislevite bulls and be rewarded with Prayers to the Pyre, which you can write your most sincere prayers upon before casting them into the pyre and waiting for your god's reply. Be careful, for the gods know the value of your prayers, and not all are worthy of a blessing.

Note: The Pyre Offerings are a BLUE currency, so check your [[Auto-roll|auto-rolls]]. These merchants will offer you foods and drinks from the northern lands, and are required for the new specular dyes. Feast while you can, because after the feast comes the famine.

=The Ancient Widow ORvR PQ=
A spirit as old as the land of Kislev has reappeared in Kislev during this Feast of Shoika, a powerful being bent on cleansing the land of all those who do not respect it. Needless to say, that is everyone. Join your realm in battling the Ancient Widow in the streets of Praag, while you hold back the opposing realm. This PQ will include a handful of rewards exclusive to the PQ.

=Feast of Shoika Epic Branching Quest=
During the Feast of Shoika, players will have the opportunity to take part in a branching questline, The Tainted Child for Order, or Death On The Steppes for Destruction. Each questline has three endings, depending on the path you took and the decisions you made - and don't worry, there is a route focused on PvP for the PvE-shy players.

* [[Death On The Steppes]] for Destruction. Speak to Kalendrys Frostsoul at 30.5, 16.8 in Inevitable City.

Completing the Event Quest - An event slot item; and depending on the path you take/choices you make the new Kislevite capes: the ermine-fur-lined Druzhina's Korzna , or fur cloak fit for winter - the Kislevite Kozhukhi, or a ragged hide fit for a soldier - the Pulkowa Palatka.
